Storage & expiry
Know when your booth closes and save the memories you want to keep.
Updated 1 October 2026
What the storage includes
Each paid booth includes 100 GB for submitted photos and videos. The organiser dashboard shows storage use. When the allowance is reached, further uploads are stopped. The camera records video messages of up to 30 seconds; individual uploads also have a 35 MB limit.
When access ends
Organisers can customise and preview after payment confirmation. Guests can capture and upload only on the event date and the day after, from midnight on the event date until midnight after the following day, UK time (GMT/BST). Organiser viewing and downloads close 30 days after the event date. Check the exact expiry date and time in your dashboard; times are shown for the United Kingdom. Gallery viewing and downloads stop at expiry; guest uploads close earlier as described above. Creating an account, logging in later or editing the event name does not restart the access period.
Before the deadline, open your submitted photos and videos in the organiser gallery and download them. Check that your copies open correctly and keep a backup. You do not need to keep your Clipbooth account open to view files you have already downloaded.
Expiry is not the same as deletion
Expiry prevents access through the booth. It does not mean every stored copy is automatically erased at that moment. New paid-booth files use Cloudflare expiry rules. They are scheduled for removal at the next UTC midnight after access expires and are normally removed within a further 24 hours. Provider delays can take longer; access remains closed throughout. Older test booths are not covered by these new rules; contact us to remove test content.
Do not rely on expired files being recoverable. Account and financial information have separate retention periods explained in the privacy policy.
